Hakuna Fruitata: A Fruitful Collaboration

For the past two years, ATP and Oakland have collaborated with StreetGames to provide healthy food hampers to children and young people.

This initiative, tunded by the Department for Education's Holidays Activities and Food (HAF) Programme, allows around 28,000 children to access free holiday programmes, ihe Hakuna Fruitata project enhances these opporrunities, enabling children to experience and learn more about food.

Thanks to Oakland International's logistical support and AlP's management, over 7,500 children enjoyed tresh fruits and vegetables this summer. 128 community groups received produce boxes, fueling hands-on workshops where children made truit kebabs and smoothies.

Over 300 staff and volunteers were trained by StreetGames to lead food-based and young people, activities, gaining valuable skils and confidence. For ATP, this project is about more than just supplying fresh produce; it's about giving children a chance to learn, create, and discover the joy of food in a fun, pressure-tree environment.

Alongside Oakland International and StreetGames, ATP looks forward to continuing its support of this vital mission.
